Is working with a Life coach something that will benefit you? How do you know if it is the right choice for you? Would you like to try but aren’t sure what you are looking for in a coach?
Here are the answers to some of the questions that I get asked by clients or people interested in coaching;
Is coaching right for me? I firmly believe that EVERYONE benefits from having a life coach. For anyone feeling lost, confused, or in need of change or direction, coaching can be immensely beneficial. Everyone has areas of their lives that they need help with, therefore coaching is right for us all.
What can coaching help me with? Coaching works with all areas of your life, from career, relationships, and building confidence to weight loss and finding your direction.
What is the biggest challenge that you face in your life or what would you change if you could? Coaching gives you focus, motivation, accountability and a secure space to work through the areas in your life that need help.
Even if you are unsure of what it is that needs changing in your life, a coaching session can give you clarity and understanding to point you in the right direction.
How much will a session cost? I see coaching as an investment, an investment in you! Therefore, the question isn’t so much how much will a coaching session cost, but more how much are you willing to invest in YOU. Coaching can be transformative in your life if you are ready to commit the time, energy and resources.
What should I be looking for in a coach? Coaching is an unregulated industry, but there are many accredited coaches working in the industry. A certified coach should always have a logo on their site to show you that they have attained a certain level of competence. Credible coaches should also demonstrate insurance and will generally have testimonials of past clients that they have worked with. It is always a good idea to have a discovery call to see if you are a good fit.
How long should I have coaching and when should I start? Usually, by the time I speak to a new client, they are aware that they have the need or desire for coaching. They may have goals that they want to reach but need direction or they have questions that they are looking for answers to.
It could be that you are aware that you have limiting beliefs but can’t break through them alone, or they may have ideas that they need to work through with someone objective.
Coaching sessions will usually be between one session and three months depending on the client. This question can be discussed more fully on a FREE discovery call.
